I've "rescued" an old photograph of Frank STEUNENBERG which was taken at the Edinger Studio in Des Moines, Iowa. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880s with Frank likely in his 20s at the time. Based on
limited research and thanks to the help of a STEUNENBERG Family Researcher I was able to gather the following information regarding Frank and his family:

Frank STEUNENBURG b. 8 Aug 1861 in Keokuk, IA to parents Bertus or Albertus STEUNENBERG and Corinne KEPPEL, he married Evaline Belle KEPPEL on 25 Jun 1885 in Knoxville, IA.

Census records provide the following information:

1880 census of Knoxville, IA:

Debra STEUNENBERG, age 26, born IA, Keeps House, parents born Holland

Albert STEUNENBERG, age 16, born IA
Elizabeth STEUNENBERG, age 15, born IA
Charles STEUNENBERG, age 11, born IA
George STEUNENBERG, age 9, born IA
Josie STEUNENBERG, age 7, born IA
Grace STEUNENBERG, age 4, born IA

1900 census of Caldwell, ID:
Frank STEUNENBERG, age 39, born Aug 1860, married 14 years, born IA, parents born Holland, Governor of ID
Eva B. STEUNENBERG, wife, age 37, born Jun 1862, married 14 years, 4 children/3 living, born IA, parents born Holland

Frances L. STEUNENBERG, dau, age 7, born Aug 1892, born ID, at School

Frank and his brother Albert moved to Caldwell, ID in 1886 to purchase the Tribune Press Newspaper business. Frank then became involved in politics and became the Governor of Idaho. I am hoping to locate someone from Frank's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to its rightful place, with family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.
