PELLA - Nola B. (Bernice) Husted, 68, of Pella, died Thursday, March 21, at Pella Regional Health Center.

Her funeral service was held today, March 25, at Garland-VanArkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, the Rev. Norman Tosten, the Rev. Harold Schutte and the Rev. Del Bittner of the Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial: Friends Cemetery in New Sharon. Memorials: Mercy Dialysis Clinic of Des Moines, or Hospice of Pella.

Nola B. Husted was born July 23, 1933, to Floyd and Bethel Stout Andersen in New Sharon. She married Charles A. Husted on June 15, 1952, in Oskaloosa. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She loved her family, and especially loved baking and singing.

She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Charles A. (Chuck) Husted of Pella; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Lori Clark of Pella, Brenda and Dan Brewer of Chariton and Becky and Jim De Joode of Pella; a son and daughter-in-law: Roy and Joyce Husted of Waukee; seven grandchildren: Randy and wife Kim Clark of Leighton, Taunya and husband Wes Van Maanen of Leighton, Tanner and Suade Husted, both of Waukee, Erica, A.J. and Lee Brewer, all of Chariton; six great-grandchildren: Sarah, Allison and Mitchell Clark, Klaeton and Paige Van De Kieft and Jaed Van Maanen; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Bernadene and Louis Baack of Davenport, Fla., and Ruth Colleen and Vincent Barone of Virginia Beach, Va.; and two brothers and sisters-in-law: Bernard and Pat Andersen of Moline, Ill., and DeWayne and Rosalyn Andersen of Pinellas Park, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
