Thompson Bridges died at his home near Attica, Jan 16,1901, aged 77y,10m,25d. Deceased was born in Clarborne co, Tn. At the age of 9 year he removed with his parents to Brown co, IL where he made his home until 1842. He then removed to Jackson co, MO and from there to Marion co,Ia, where he made his home until death. Mr. Bridges married twice. His first wife was Miss Nancy Gibson whom he married Nov 2, 1842 and who died March 18, 1853. His second marriage was to Miss Mary anderson April 2, 1854, and she preceded him to that brighter world just 10 months and 12 days ago. Both united with the Primitive Baptist Church 34 years ago. He left 3 sons and 5 daughters.
