Luella Haselhuhn 89, of Melcher-Dallas died July 7, at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital. Funeral services were July 11, at St John Lutheran Church in Melcher-Dallas with burial in the St. Paul Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Marion County Hospice, St John Lutheran Church, or St John LWML.

She was born Dec. 23, 1915, near Wiota to Henry and Anna Aldag Schmedtjen. She married Clifford Haselhuhn on Aug. 6, 1944, in Wiota.

Hasselhuhn was very active in her church, enjoyed music as well as playing the piano and violin, games and puzzles, gardening and baking, but enjoyed her grandchildren and great-granddaughter most of all.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford; her son, Kenneth (Linda) of Knoxville; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and sister Dorothy Sunderman of Phoenix.
