Funeral services for Leah Grace Robinson, 16, of Pella, who died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002 in Pella, were held Monday, Sept. 23, at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville. The Rev. Guy Olin Thomas officiated at the services.

Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery in rural Knoxville. Casket bearers were Fred and Rick Marvelli, Fred, Joe, Josh and Toby Mick and Ryan Robinson.

Leah was born June 10, 1986 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Ramon Robinson and Gina (Marvelli) Robinson. She lived in Mt. Pleasant until age 4 when her family moved to Knoxville. She had lived in Pella since 1993. She was enrolled at Pella High School in the 11th grade. She enjoyed writing for the school newspaper.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Olin Robinson and Ruth Robinson Bird.

She is survived by her parents, Gina and Ramon Robinson of Pella; her brother, Levi Clay Robinson of Pella; grandmother, Barbara Marvelli of Knoxville; grandfather and step-grandmother, Fred and Melinda Marvelli of Des Moines; paternal step-grandfather, Melvin Bird of Mt. Pleasant and many other family members and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Arrangements were made by Bybee & Davis Funeral Home.
