Funeral services for Nell C. Evers, 93, who died April. 3, were held April 9 at Westminster Presbyterian Church Chapel with cremation to follow service.

Burial was held at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella April 10.

Nell was born in Pella and worked as a bookkeeper for 20 years for Standard Medical Company. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Kings Daughters, Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star and a graduate of Central Academy in Pella and attended Central College.

She is survived by her son, Maynard Van Roekel of Johnston; daughter, Marcia Holm of Aiken, S.C.; sister, Leona Zylstra of Zeland, Mich.; six grandchildren and nine great - grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Evers and brother, Earl "Bud" Breuklander.

Arrangements were made by Dunn's Iles Funeral Home.
