Funeral services for Xander Phillip Axtell of Des Moines, were held Feb. 18. The Rev. Drew Schmidt, officiated the service.

Interment was held at the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Xander Phillip Axtell was stillborn at on Sat., Feb. 14, 2004 at the Mahaska Hospital in Oskaloosa. He was 5 pounds, 6 ounces and 18 inches long.

Xander is survived by his parents Charma Hoksbergen and Eric Phillip Axtell of Des Moines; maternal grandparents: Linda and John Kersbergen of Pella, and Robert and Dorothy Hoksbergen of Grundy Center; paternal grandparents Phillip and Cynthia Axtell of Oskaloosa; and paternal great-grandparents Alice Skinner, Robert and Mary Axtell of Ottumwa.

For those desiring, memorials may be given to the family of Xander Phillip Axtell.

Arrangements were made by Van Dyk Duven Funeral Home in Pella.
