Funeral services for Hazel M. Vander Pol of Pella were held April 15, 2003 at First Baptist Church in Pella, the Rev. John McNabb officiating.

Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Hazel was born in Tracy, however, lived, her entire adult life in Pella. She was a member of the Pella First Baptist Church and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She passed away at the Pella Hospital Long Term Care Facility on Sunday April 13, 2003.

Mrs. Vander Pol is survived by 2 sons: Wayne D. of Merriam, Kan. and Max Vander Pol of Pella. One brother Roy Johnson of Sioux Rapids and 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Vander Pol in 1983 and an infant grandson Jon Vander Pol.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Pella of Pella Hospice.

Arrangements were handled by Caldwell and Raddatz Funeral Homes and Crematory.
