OBITUARY Services for Ray Willet Kingery, 69, who died June 24, 1980 at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, were held June 26, First Methodist Church. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.

Dr. Leonard E. Deaver officiated at the services. Music was provided by Kris Van Vark, organist and Richard Hunt, vocalist.

Pallbearers Steve Kingery, Gary Kingery, Charles Nichols Jr., Robert Nichols, Marion and Harold Bailey.

Mr. Kingery was born on March 22, 1911 in the Coal Ridge neighborhood, Marion County (IA).

He was married to Lorain Betterton in Pella on January 8, 1935. The family farmed northeast of Knoxville for three years and then moved to a farm and northwest of Columbia, IA where they lived for 35 years. They sold the farm and retired to Knoxville six years ago.

He was a member of the Columbia United Methodist Church and where he was active on several boards. He was a member of the Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, Lorain of Knoxville, his daughter, Mrs. Dean (Patricia) Wallace of Chariton, two Sons, Norman of Columbia and Richard of Pleasantville, ten grandchildren and three sisters, Clara Nichols and Mrs. Charles (Millie) Bailey of Knoxville and Mrs. Harvey (Naomi) Loynachan of Pleasantville, and one brother, Walter Kingery of Knoxville.
