Obituary of Wallace A. Roff - Services for Wallace Alfred Roff, who died April 1982, were held April 5, 1982, at First Christian Church. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Rev. William Travis officiated at the services. Music was provided by Mrs. Darlene Mooberry, organist and Mrs. Sandra Miller, soloist.

Pallbearers were Donald DeMoss, Marvin DeMoss, Robert DeMoss, Wayne DeMoss,Danny DeMoss, and Marion Roush. Mr. Roff was born November 5, 1899 in the Red Rock area, the son of William and Yetska Roff. He was married to Cyntha Marie DeMoss on March 6, 1926 at Knoxville.

They farmed in Marion Co. He worked at Maytag in the early 40's and later for the gas company for approximately. 10 years. He was well known for his fence building ability.

They moved to Knoxville, in 1951.

He is survived by his wife, Cyntha; one son, Bill, of Knoxville, one daughter, Mrs. Darl (Betty ) Beal, of Albia; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, George; and two sisters, Edna Wares and Maggie Roush, all of Knoxville, Iowa.
