Obituary of Mary Adell Sharp From Knoxville Journal, Knoxville, Iowa
Services for Mary Adell (Della) Sharp, 88, who died May 13, 1981 at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held May 16 at Williams Funeral Home.
Interment was in Red Rock Cemetery, Marion Co., Iowa.
Rev. M.H. Mooberry officiated at the services. Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist.
Pallbearers were Jerry Sharp, Danny Sharp, Robert Sharp, Johnnie Sharp, Rick Sharp, Jim Sharp, Leonard Sharp and Donald Sharp.
Mrs. Sharp was born August 18, 1892 in Joplin MO., the daughter of Wiliam and Yetska DeBok Roff.
She was married to Lennington Nathanial Sharp on Feb 23, 1910 in Hope, N.M.
The farmed in the Red Rock area. IN 1939, they moved to Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Rachel Sharp and Bessie Corcoran; and two sons. Delmar Sharp and Walter Sharp.
She is survived by two daughters, Goldie Radestock and Ada Wilson; three sons, Harry Sharp, Ivan Sharp and Vernon Sharp; 33 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Wares and Maggie Roush; and two brothers, Wallace and George Roff.
