Obituary- Mary Dickey, daughter of Francis and Marandy Dickey, was born in Marion Co., February 23, 1886, and died at the Mahaska Hospital in Oskaloosa, March 20, 1955.

The deceased was united in marriage, March 6, 1904, to Corda Karr. To this union four children were born, Bessie, Frank, Raymond and Worth.

Mrs. Karr spent her entire life in the Red Rock vicinity and was a member of the Red Rock church since a girl.
Mrs. Karr is survived by her husband, Corda, two sisters, Edna Dickey and a half-sister, Gail Simson, three half-brothers, Jess, Raleigh, and John Mikesell, all of California; her four children, Mrs. Bessie Hoeksma, Frank, Raymond and Worth Karr all of Knoxville; one grandson, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Karr was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Cecil Mikesell. Frank and Melissa Ford raised Mary Dickey from childhood and she was better known to her friends as Mary Ford.

Funeral services were held from the Red Rock Church with the Rev. Fred Dietderich officiating, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00. Burial was in the Red Rock Cemetery.
