Graveside service for James F. Harvey, 74, of Knoxville, who died Thursday, June 15, 2000 at the Knoxville VA Medical Center, were held Monday, June 19 at 1 p.m. at Glendale Cemetery.

James was born in Mercer County, Mo. and spent most of his life in Des Moines before moving to Knoxville for 30 years.

James was a disabled veteran, having been in Patton's Third Army and fighting in the Battle of the Bulge.

James was a soloist and also sang with various groups in Knoxville.

He is survived by two aunts, Margie B. Enochs of El Dorado, Texas, and Wilma Shilt of Wentzville, Mo.

Arrangements were made by Grandview Park Funeral Home.
