Eilene H. Gibson, 70, of Des Moines, passed away February 22, 2000 at Riverview Care Center. No services are planned.

She was born in Perry, Iowa on December 8, 1929. She grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville High School.

She was a retired hotel housekeeper, had lived in Des Moines since 1985.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Billy O. Gibson.

She is survived by a brother Dean Huffman, of Des Moines; a nephew Robert Huffman, and a niece Vicky McEraery.

Memorials contributions are open.

The body was cremated.

Arrangements were made by Grandview Park Funeral Home.
