Funeral services for Herbert W. Dixson, 66, of Kirkwood, Mo., who died on Monday, August 7, 2000 at his home, were held on Friday, August 11 at Grace Episcopal Church in Kirkwood, Mo. Rev. Greg Hein and Rev. Llewellyn M. Heighman, Jr. officiated at the services. Interment was at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirkwood.

Herbert was born on February 15, 1934 in Dallas, the son of Ruth Llewellyn and William Dixson. He graduated from Dallas High School and Drake University in 1957. He married Beverly Price in Albia in 1958.

He was in the insurance business for 41 years. The couple lived in West Des Moines, Bay Village, Ohio and retired in Kirkwood.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Beverly; a son, Steven of Kirkwood; a daughter, Kimberly of Kansas City, Mo.; and a brother Gilbert Dixson of Minneapolis, Minn.

Arrangements were made by Bopp Chapel.
