Funeral services for Eugene Donald Blubaugh, 63, formerly of Knoxville, who died June 8, 2000, were held Saturday, June 20 at First Assembly of God. Reverend Vernon Ables officiated at the services. Diane Crawford was organist and Kay Lawson was pianist.

Interment was at White County Memorial Gardens.

Gene was born October 10, 1936 in Derby, the son of Harry L. Blubaugh and Edna Ethel May.

He was employed in maintenance in an oil company, former owner of Gene's Shell Station and member of First Assembly of God in Searcy and Searcy Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Chris Blubaugh; two sons, Gary Blubaugh of Marshalltown and Craig Blubaugh of Alberdeen, S.D.; four daughters, Linda King of Searcy, Pam Blubaugh of Marshalltown, Tammy Branson of Melcher, and Shawna Davis of Judsonia; his mother, Edna Blubaugh of Knoxville; one brother, Jack Blubaugh of Melcher; one sister, Norma Vandekamp of Searcy; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Memorials may be made to Hospice.

Arrangements were made by Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
