Graveside services for Theda June Williamson, 77, of Knoxville, who died on Monday, August 6, 2001, at Griffin Nursing Center in Knoxville, were held on Thursday, August 9, at Eureka Cemetery in Harvey. Rev. John Allard officiated at the services. Honorary casketbearers were David, Keith and Ronnie Geery, Shawn Kennedy, Randy Randolph and Danny Wooldridge.

Theda was born on April 19, 1924, in Oskaloosa. She was the daughter of Anna Elizabeth Conley and Everett Lawrence White. She spent the early years of her life in Harvey, where she attended school.

She married Lawrence Dunsmore on July 19, 1940. She worked at Continental Manufacturing Company in Knoxville and Oskaloosa. Due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident, she retired in 1970.

She enjoyed taking her grandchildren to the auto races. She also liked to crochet and macramé.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mildred; and two brothers in infancy.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Derringer of Independence, Mo. and Margaret Frasier of Sun City, Calif.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Peggy White and Gladys Jones both of Knoxville.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Arrangements were made by Williams Funeral Home.
