Funeral services for Brianna Lee Willemsen, newborn daughter of Gary and Jodi (Gillispie) Willemsen of Pella, who was stillborn on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, were held on Tuesday, April 24, at Garden Chapel Funeral Home. Rev. Al Schreuder officiated at the services.

Interment was at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.

Brianna was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Neal and Gertrude Willemsen and a great-uncle, Joe McInerney.

She is survived by her parents, Gary and Jodi Willemsen of Pella; two sisters, Ashley and Lindsay Willemsen who live at home; grandparents, Bud and Judi Hanna of Derby, Donna and Hank Rooda of Otley and Elmer and Pam Willemsen of Pella; great-grandparents, Francis and Frances McInerney of Ottumwa and Gerald and Mae Van Zante of Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Empty Cradle Program of Hospice of Pella.

Arrangements were made by Garden Chapel Funeral Home.
