Funeral services for Braden Cole Westfall, 27, of Knoxville, who died on Saturday, September 29, 2001, near Lovilia, were held on Thursday, October 4, at Living Word Fellowship. Pastor Tom Kirkman officiated at the services.

Interment was at Union Cemetery in Ringgold County. Casketbearers were Justin Davis, Eric Hamler, Trevin and Terry Oye, Brandon Johnson and Mathew Roland. Honorary casketbearers were Dustin Brees, D.R. Hegwood, Kevin Van Polen, Corey Ford, Dave Myers, Ryan Westfall and Joe Wright.

Braden was born on June 25, 1974 in Des Moines. He was the son of Tanna Renee Turner and Gregory Alan Westfall. He attended Knoxville schools.

He married Angela Brees on August 31, 1999, in Knoxville. He worked at De Vries Electric for two years. Braden, being an avid Oakland Raiders fan, enjoyed spending game day with his football friends. He liked golf and NASCAR races. Most of all, Braden loved to visit with family and friends, especially when a big meal was on the table.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tanna Renee Turner Westfall.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Westfall of Knoxville; a daughter, Ember Westfall, a son, Devon Brees, both of Knoxville, and a son to be born in December; his father, Greg Westfall and his fiancé, Tammy Howard of St. Augustine, Fla.; a step-father, Terry Oye of Knoxville; grandparents, Delbert and Betty McCombs of Knoxville, Karl and Donna Westfall of Francesville, Ind. and Raymond and Kenna Turner of Inglis, Fla.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Brandy and Dave Meyers of Knoxville and Tashi Oye of Knoxville; and two brothers, Trevin Oye of Knoxville and Shawn Oye of Tennessee.

Memorials may be made to his family.

Arrangements were made by Williams Funeral Home.
