Antonie Van Zante died at this home in Pella at midnight, Tuesday, February 24, 1920, aged 73 years, 10 months, and 15 days. His death followed a long illness with paralysis. He is survived by his wife, seven sons and three daughters. One son, Rev. A.B.Van Zante lives at Tacoma, Washington, and was unable to be with his father at the last on account of illness in his own family. One son, Dieles lives in Eddyville, a daughter, Mrs. R.M. Adair, at Prairie City, the other children, Charles, Everett, William, John, Dick, Mrs. Conrad DeCook, and Miss Dorothy, all live in or near Pella. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the home at one o'clock and at the First Reformed church at 1:30. Interment at Black Oak Center cemetery.
