VIRGIL GRANDIA

PELLA - Virgil Grandia, a resident of Pella since 1972 and former resident of the Rose Hill, Oskaloosa and Delta areas, died Saturday, March 7, at the Pella Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Reformed Church in Pella.

The Rev. Donald Platinga, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. Roger Grandia, will conduct services.

Burial will be in Porter Grove Cemetery near Pella.

Friends may call today at the Pella Garden Chapel Funeral Home and family visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials to Hospice of Pella may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors are his wife, seven children, 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a sister. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Mon 9 Mar 1992.
