Diana Jane Mason was born July 2, 1961, in Knoxville, the daughter of Thomas L. and Gloria Ann (Johnson) Six.

She graduated from Twin Cedars High School in 1979. Diana was united in marriage to David Mason on May 19, 1984, in the Marion County Park. She had worked as a CNA for West Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center and most recently for Griffin Nursing and Rehab Center. Diana had also worked as a waitress at the Maple Buffet.

She enjoyed adding to her extensive Coca Cola collection. Diana also loved spending time with her family, especially the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Diana passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at the Monongahela Valley Hospital in Monongahela, Penn., at the age of 46.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Ann (Johnson) Six.

Diana is survived by her husband, David, children; Hillary Mason and Jedediah Light both of Oskaloosa, grandchildren; Dylan and Carter Messamaker, parents, Tom and Linda Six of Peoria, Ariz. , brother, Daryl (Brenda) Six of Richmond, Ky., step-sister, Jill (Joe) Sheesley of Murray, Ky., step-brother, John Sherwood of Knoxville, mother and father in-law, Daniel and Betty Mason of Pleasantville, brothers-in-law, Daniel Mason of Pleasantville, Tony Mason of Marshalltown, sisters-in-law Lori Mason of Ottumwa, Julie (Eric) Weidner of Stockport, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Funeral Service was held at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, with Reverend John Van Den Berg, officiating. Interment was in the Zion Cemetery in Pershing.
