HARVEY YOUTH BURIED

Hold Services For Floyd White Who Drowned Wednesday

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Harvey for Floyd Ivan White, 21 year old youth who drowned in English Creek last Wednesday evening. The Rev. Willis had charge of the service in the Harvey church and burial was in the Eureka cemetery.
Floyd was found floating in two and a half feet of water after a searching party which included his brothers, had searched for some time. His body was discovered by his brother, Orval.
Floyd Ivan White, a son of Mr and Mrs James White, was born on May 28, 1916. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Mrs. John Crispen and Mrs. Floyd Redding; and five brothers, Everett, Orval, Merle, Amos and Donald, all of Harvey. Three brothers, Dewey, Roy, and Cecil and one sister Erma preceded him in death.
Floyd was liked by all who know him and will be sadly missed. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
