GOLDIE MELVIN PERHAM
Goldie Melvin Perham , 90 , died December 11 , 1986 at the Veterans Administration Center in Knoxville.
The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. , December 12 at the Evans - Mc Cleery Funeral Home , with Elder DICK YOUNG officiating

He was born on November 24 , 1896. He married BERTIE SLOCUM BELKNAP on June 11 , 1945. He was a skilled painter and decorator. He did much of the interior work at the State Capital Building and Terrace Hill Mansion in Des Moines. He retired from Neumann Construction Company in Des Moines with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Oainters , Decorators , and Paperhangers, Local 246 and the Za - Ga- Aig Shrine , both of Des Moines. He served with the Army during W.W.1 & World War 11.

He is survived by his wife and one brother. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Crippled Children.
