Calvin Wilson Is Dead-Passed away Tuesday Evening After Extended Illness

Michiel Calvin Wilson died at his home on East Washington Street Tuesday, aged 77 years, 3 months and 9 days. He had been in poor health for the past three years, and for several months had been in very poor health with heart trouble and complications.
The deceased was the son of Michiel L. and Sarah Bartlett Wilson, and was born in Grant county, Indiana, December 15, 1854. He came to Marion county in a covered wagon in 1872 and spent the remainder of his life in and near Knoxville.
On March 24, 1880, the deceased was united in marriage to Anna Isabelle Wilcutt, and to this union six children wre born- W.N. Wilson, southeast of Knoxville; Daisy and Hazel, at home; Ora C Wilson, Oskaloosa; Mrs. Roy Robinson, south of Knoxville.
The deceased is survived by the widow, six children, eighteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, half-sister, Mrs. J.M. Maddy; half-brother, Thomas Hendrix.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Free Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. R.S. Tague, of Bussey, assisted by Rev. Shockey, pastor. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.
