Michael D. Liddle died Sept. 24, 2006, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services were held on Sept. 28 at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. Interment was in Indiana Cemetery. Memorials are being directed to Michael's family.

Michael is survived by his children: Jack Liddle of Ohio, Thomas Liddle of Des Moines, Samuel Stringer of Indiana and Benjamin Liddle of Indiana; eight grandchildren; friend, Lori McCombs of Des Moines; step-daughter, Megan Pettibone; and step-son, Steven McCombs; two brothers, Patrick Liddle and Phillip Liddle; and one sister, Kelly Liddle.
