Wilma Arlene Brown was born on Sept. 5, 1906, in Lucas County to Peter and Nellie Bebout.

While living in Knoxville she worked for George Andrew for many years. She had been living in Winnsboro, La. prior to her death.

She married Brice Davis Brown on Jan. 31, 1925. The couple was married for 71 years prior to his death in 1996.

Wilma passed away on Nov. 19, 2003, in Ruston, La. at the age of 97.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Coral Lenig and Esther Hoffman and brother Clyde Bebout.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Norman Brown, M.D. of Winnsboro, La.; grandchildren, Cherin Lynn Brown Aguilar of San Diego, California and Peter Brice Brown of Moorpark, California; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas John Aguilar and Jacob Justus Aguilar.

Funeral services were held on Nov. 22, 2003.

Committal services were held on July 15, 2006, in Graceland Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Flagg officiating.
