For reasons known only to God, Amarie Sue Rolffs, was born prematurely at 8:46 am on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Pella Regional Health Center in Pella. She was born to Lindsay Marie Rolffs of Otley and Ahmed Mohamed Farrah of Sioux City.

Of her mother's family, she leaves maternal grandparents: Merlan and Sue (Bergeson) Rolffs of Pella; Sarah and Adam Hartig of Cedar Rapids. Maternal Great-grandparents Henry and Hermina Rolffs of Sully and Dick Bergeson of Newton.

Amarie was preceded in death by her paternal great grandmother, Lola Bergeson; and aunt Laura Kristine Rolffs, an infant daughter of Merlan and Sue Rolffs who died as an infant. We all live a lifetime on earth, some for decades and others mere moments, but Amarie will live a lifetime in God's hands. We trust you will understand the family's grief and share in their sorrow and loss.

Funeral services were held May 4 at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella with Dr. Jack Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Amarie S. Rolffs Memorial Fund.
