My great grandfather returned to WV from Prairie Twp, Mahaska County, Iowa after 1865, leaving behind siblings. Their names may be found in the ones listed above. These are the Descendants of Hugh Evans and Sarah Carroll Evansof Prairie TWp.
I wish descendants to contact me as I would like to enter their information into the database being maintained on THE DESCENDANTS OF THE DRUMMER BOY:EDWARD EVans OF VA.(400 recorded to date) Edward served as George Washington's drummer boy during the French and Indian War.
