FAUQUIER. – Died, of paralysis, in Des Moines, Friday afternoon, August 28, at 3:00 p.m., after an illness of a year, Mrs. Lizzie Fauquier, aged 73 years, 6 months and 20 days. The remains were brought to this city this afternoon at 2:l0 via the Rock Island and taken immediately to Forest cemetery where a short grave service was held.

The deceased was for many years a resident of Oskaloosa and has a number of relatives living in the city among whom are Mrs. Lida Sharra, Miss Minnie Collins, Mrs. Lizzie Washburn, Mrs. Lida Colville and Mrs. Lou Shangle. The family and relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.

Note: Mrs. Lida Colville’s maiden name was Fauquier and Mrs. Lou (Louis Truman) Shangle’s maiden name was Mattie (Matilda?) Woods.
