James Kelley Woods, Jr., son of James K. and Sarah Woods, was born in Mahaska county, Iowa, February 25,1867. Died in Spokane, Wash., April 3,1902. His body was laid to rest beside his father in the Burden cemetery, April 9,1902. The deceased was a son of J.K. Woods, formerly a well-to-do farmer residing in Adams township on the place now known as the Vermilyea farm. He was at one time a member of the state assembly
