Minnie Maxine Dursky, 82, of Oskaloosa, died Sunday, Feb. 11, at the Siesta Park Manor Retirement Home in Oskaloosa. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Powers Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, the Rev. Ray Stauffer officiating. Interment: Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa. Visitation with family present will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials: Mahaska Diamond Shelter in Oskaloosa. Minnie Maxine Dursky was born Sept. 19, 1913, near Fremont to Raymond Dunbar and Senath Anderson Rice. She was a 1931 graduate of Ottumwa High School and a 1935 graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing. On Aug. 5, 1941, she married Albert Dursky in Davenport. She had worked at both the Mercy and Mahaska Hospitals and was a member of the Faith Circle of King's Daughters, Independent Garden Club, D. A. R., Christian Challenge I, and the Central United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband: Albert of Oskaloosa; a son: Dennis and his wife Andrea Dursky of Oskaloosa; two grandsons and their wives; three great-grandchildren; and a brother: Dwight Rice of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
