Clarice Lucille Grandia, 85, of 1305 N. Market St., died Sunday, Oct. 28, 1984, at Mahaska Manor. She was born March 5, 1899 in Allerton, the daughter of George W. and Ida McGruire Pugh. She was married to Alfred J. Grandia on March 14, 1931. He died May 22, 1971. Mrs. Grandia had lived in Oskaloosa since 1913. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a past member of the Farm Bureau. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Earl (Wilma) Storm of Oskaloosa, and a niece, Judith Kniep of Bridgewater. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Verda V. Carter. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Garland-Van Arkel Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Troxler of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church. The family will be at the funeral chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. today to greet friends and relatives.
