Levi Neil McPherren, 78, of Rose Hill died Friday, May 16, 1980 at Sigourney Care Center.

Born at Corning November 12, 1901, he was the son of William James McPherren and Laura Williams McPherren.

A 50 year Mason, he was a member Of Tri-Luminar Lodge 185 of Mason City, a member of Scottish Rite Bodies in Sioux City and El Kahir Shrine Club of Cedar Rapids. He also was a member of the Elks and Lions Clubs.

Survivors include a son, David L. McPherren; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Delores) Collins; six grandchildren and a brother, W. R. McPherren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Doris Brower.

A memorial service was conducted Tuesday, May 21 in Powers Funeral Home with Dr. George Sheils and Rev. Thomas Doyle officiating.

Masonic rites were conducted by Tri-Luminar Lodge of Oskaloosa .
