Ernest W. Berry, 54, who had been a heat treater 17 years for AiResearch until retiring in February, died yesterday in Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mr. Berry, 2633 E. Glenrosa, was born in Fremont, Iowa and moved to Phoenix in 1950 from Ottumwa, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife Jessie; five daughters, Mrs. Shirley Mick, Mrs. Sharon Pritchard and Mrs. Patricia Brett, all of Phoenix, Mrs. Carol Smith of Scottsdale and Mrs. Judy Davis of Wilmington, Calif.; two sisters, Eva Berry and Mrs. Ruth Morgan of Phoenix, a sister and a brother out of state and 17 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
