Arthur R. RUSSELL, 78, of Oskaloosa, died Friday, May 22, at Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa.

Graveside service and interment will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Old White Cemetery in Oskaloosa, with Elder Jimmy Kerr officiating, and military honors conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Vistation begins 9 a.m. Saturday at Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa.

Mr. Russell was born Oct. 14, 1919, to Richard Winfield and Victoria BOYD Russell. He was a veteran of World War II. He had operated a tree service.

Survivors include two grandsons; a great-granddaughter; and a stepgreat-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Connie SILVERS; two sisters; Victoria POWELL and Velma WOLFE; and two brothers; Tracy RUSSELL and Joseph RUSSELL.
