HELEN MARY RUSSELL

Helen Mary Russell, 76, of Oskaloosa, died Friday at the Pleasant Park Manor.

She born Aug. 25, 1904, to Otto and Jennie VALKENBURG VAN HAAFTEN in Marion County.

On Dec. 24, 1920, she married Tracey RUSSELL. He survives.

Also surviving are three brothers, David of Oskaloosa, Alfred of Ottumwa and Clarence of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one sister, Mrs. Mabel SMALLING of New York, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Josephine VAN ARKEL.

Graveside services will be Monday at 1:30 at the Old White Cemetery with Elder Jimmy Kerr of the RLDS Church officiating. Garland-Van Arkel Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
