MATEER – Mrs. Ella Hollingsworth Mateer, wife of Charles Mateer, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday at her home, 510 south B street, at the age of 72 years, following a two weeks illness. Survivors include the husband, one son, Floyd Mateer of What Cheer, and three daughters, Mrs. Cleo Morrow of Van Meter, Mrs. Opal Beach of Barnes City, and Mrs. Ruby Reed of Rose Hill. Funeral services will be held at the Powers funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday with Rev. Edgar L. Knight of the First Christian church in charge. Burial in Wymore cemetery.
