James T. McLandsborough
New Sharon – Funeral services for James T. McLandsborough, 73, retired farmer of Rte. 3, New Sharon, who died Friday evening at Mahaska County Hospital, will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Newman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mark Sullivan of the Central United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery.

He was born May 16, 1904 in Mahaska County, the son of Thomas and Sophronia Mateer McLandsborough.

Surviving are his wife, Berniece; two sons, Thomas D. McLandsborough, Rte. 3, New Sharon and Richard J. McLandsborough, Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Forrest (Virginia) Nelson, Indianola; Mrs. Ronald (Elaine) Arkema of Bussey, and 13 grandchildren.

He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Holmes of Evanston, Ill.
