J. T. Ream died in his rooms on First avenue west, Friday morning, Jan. 7, 1916. He leaves two sons, Rolla, of this city, and Winnimac, of Peoria, Ill., one sister, Mrs. Anne E. Foster of this city and one brother, J. D. Ream, of Broken Bow, Neb.
Mr. Ream had been afflicted with cancer of the face, near his right eye, for several years. He was a patient sufferer, and amid it all managed to continue his business as best he could, that of writing insurance and dealing in real estate. He was a man of honor and leaves many acquaintances who will long remember his good example in matters of thrift and perseverance under serious difficulty and against great odds.
