Sheryl K. Current, 38, of Oskaloosa, died of cancer Sunday at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born April 16, 1942, in Mahaska County to James N. and Louisa Jane Quaintance Briney. She was married to Marvin Current on Aug. 20, 1960 in New Sharon.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Marcus Jon and Lee Alan; two daughters, Wendy Colleen and Leanne Beth; her father; and one brother, Bill Briney, all of whom are from Oskaloosa.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Powers Fuenral Home with the Rev. Wendy Hohl officiating. Burial will be at Bloomfield Cemetery in Mahaska County. The Powers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
