John Henry Larimore, 79, a retired farmer living in Cedar [Mahaska Co., IA], died Wednesday morning at the St. Joseph hospital in Ottumwa [Wapello Co., IA]. He had been in failing health for several years, but has been working for Guy FOX until recently.

He came to Iowa 24 years ago with his wife and family, moving to a farm near Kirkville [IA]. Later he moved to Cedar. Before coming to Iowa their home was in Green Valley, IL.

Surviving are five children, Mrs. Emma FISHER and John and Eugene of Green Valley, IL, George of Los Gato, CA and Mrs. Walter Sage of Ottumwa, and several grandchildren. Two sisters also survive, living in IL.

The body will be sent to Green Valley for funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Larimore preceded her husband in death 16 years ago.
