Joe HARDGROVE, age 65, of Cedar [Mahaska Co., IA], died at his home Saturday night. The son of Sallie NICHOL and Henry J. HARDROVE, he was born at Sioux City, MO. He was a retired farmer and oil station operator.

Surviving are: his wife, Ruth, of Cedar; two sons, Jack of Cedar and Lester of Denver, CO; and one brother, Steve of Pasadena, CA.

Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 26 16 (?) 2 p.m. from the Garland chapel. Rev. Stanley Woeste of the Cedar Methodist church will be in charge with burial in Forest cemetery [Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co.].
