H. G. Moore, aged 80, a pioneer resident of the Cedar community passed away at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, at his home in Cedar after a week's illness.

Mr. Moore is survived by two sons, John H. and Eldon, both of Cedar and two daughters, Mrs. Sina McDonough of New Sharon and Mrs. Ida Belle Witt of Cedar. A brother J. L. Moore of Kirkville and a sister, Mrs. Will Gwin of Cedar also survive him. His wife preceded him in death April 7, 1931.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church in Cedar this afternoon and burial was in the Kirkville cemetery.
