Elsie Irene Wolken, 79, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at West Bridge Care and Rehabilitation in Winterset.
Elsie Irene was born on June 30, 1937, to Van Wray and Mildred (Sheldon) Bush. She married Bruce Wolken and to this union five children were born, Connie, Steve, Carol, Mike and Ricky. Irene was a very loving and caring person. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Donald Bush; two sons, Mike and Ricky Wolken; and two great-grandchildren Larry Allen III and Lesley Breann Hoffman.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Phil) Bodwell, Steve (Sandy) Wolken and Carol Wolken, all of Winterset; her brother, Wyman (Sandy) Bush; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
