NEHRING SERVICES HELD HERE SATURDAY

Funeral services for Gustav Nehring, former Winterset merchant who died Dec. 1 in Burlingame, Calif., were held Saturday from Anderson’s home for funerals in Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mr. Nehring’s death had occurred at the home of his sister, Mrs. Anna Lucas of Burlingame, at the age of 76 years.

He was born in Germany on Sept. 22, 1877, and came to America at the age of 6 years. As a young man he worked in a shoe factory in St. Paul, Minn., and at Ft. Dodge, Ia.

He was married at Ft. Dodge to Theresa Belieu, who preceded him in death. He is survived by two brothers, Louie Nehring of St. Charles and Ottie Nehring of Culbertson, Nebr.
