CHRISTOPHER WAYNE ALLSUP, Earlham

Christopher Wayne Allsup, 10, of Earlham, passed away Saturday at the University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 27 at the Johnson Family Funeral Home, Earlham, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 28th at the Earlham School Auditorium. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher Allsup Memorial Fund, in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home PO 171 Earlham, Iowa 50072. Christopher was born December 16, 2002, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Scott and Jane Fitch Allsup. He attended Earlham Community School where he was a 5th grader. In school, Christopher enjoyed basketball, track and playing tag at recess. He loved school and looked forward to going every day. He was a member of the Earlham Church of Christ and just joined the Boy Scouts of America. Christopher was a very bright eyed, energetic little boy. Christopher was a natural born leader in life and was 10 going on 20. He enjoyed riding go-carts, playing with his animals, fishing, and hunting, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his best friend and brother Chad.

He his preceded in death by his grandfather Harlen Ray Fitch and one uncle Brian Allsup.

Christopher leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Scott and Jane Allsup of Earlham, IA., brother, Chad Allsup of the home; grandparents, Vina Fitch of Earlham, IA., Rita Allsup of Stuart, IA., and Kenneth Allsup of Des Moines, IA., aunts and uncles, Orville Brown of Ellis Praire, MO., Kevin (Tammy) Allsup of Greenfield, IA., Danny (friend-Vickie) Allsup of Exira, IA., Randy (friend-Tammy) Allsup of Stuart, IA., Penny (Lloyd Lee) Allsup of Des Moines, IA., and many cousins, friends and relatives whom will miss him greatly.
