Warrum Loehr, Lorimor

Services for Warrum Loehr, 77, rural Lorimor, who died June 28 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, were held Monday morning, July 2 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Morris officiating. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on Sept. 28, 1906, he was the son of D. M. and Mary Trautwein Loehr. He was a retired farmer, a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church.

On March 21, 1935, he married Katharine Cochran in Madison County.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Margaret Kay Smith of Lorimor; sisters, Anna Loehr of Lorimor and Earnstein Grace of Denver, Colo.; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
