Services for Dale Berdett Palmer, 55, DeSoto, who died Saturday, Dec. 8 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center of a heart attack, were held Monday, Dec. 10 at the DeSoto United Methodist Church. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Palmer was a co-owner of the Amoco service station at DeSoto and was a member of the Methodist Church and the Van Meter American Legion. He was born in Madison County and lived in south Dallas County all his life.
Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Hines, and his step-father, Carl Hines, both of Van Meter; a step-brother, Bill Hines of Albuquerque, N. M., and a sister-in-law, Carol Palmer of DeSoto.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, and a step-brother.
