Isaac Longenecker, one of the pioneer settlers of the county and a veteran of the civil war expired sometime during the night and was found dead in bed on Sunday morning at his home in the southwest part of the city. Funeral services were held in the south Winterset church and interment made in the Clark cemetery, near Ord.
